Midnight Hour - I'm Running Away

Ok, this band is called 'Midnight Hour'. I heard them from the show 'Ghost Whisperer'. But that was a long time ago. But I stumbled across their song again on my computer. =) And I've decided to blog about them.

They became popular from the show. Because the guy in the show was actually singing their song.

This is another video of the other guy singing.


Which was really very funny. If you look properly behind, at 1:52, you can see another guy singing at the piano. That is the real singer. The guy was just lip-synching. And he was not even playing the guitar. -.-

But for the singing part, he did a very convincing job of it. Hahahas.

What I like about the song? Its really the lead singer, Brad.

His falsetto is fantastic. -drools- If you noticed, I adore guys who can sing their falsetto fairly well. In the first video, at 0:44. When he slides to falsetto, that's when I fell in love with him. =)

Another well done slide that he did was at 1:34 when he said 'stay'.

Then, the song progresses, and as most rock ballad songs, they start out light and becomes more heavy with the bass. At 2:04. But another good example of this type of method is actually 'Guardian Angel' by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Which is more acoustic at the beginning and the heavy 'backdrop' of the music comes in later.

Then, the singer was pretty fantastic at 3:22. =)

Well, I'm in love with this song and the singer, not the band. Why? Because their other songs are quite heavy for me. Hahahas.

That's all.

But with this song title, there are quite a few singers with this title. Life house has one, and Jesse McCartney has a new song titled 'Running Away'. LOLs.
